10 REASONS WHY YOUR FIRST CHOICE SHOULD BE OUR APARTMENT!

You have a good choice of apartments on Roda to rent so why should you choose ours and are you getting best in class and value for money? So that you can make an educated decision we thought it might be helpful to set out a few pointers so that you can evaluate our apartment against other Penthouse apartments on Roda.

1.    It is on Phase 1 of the development, consequently it is very close to all amenities including the Club house, all are a few minutes walk away.

2.    It has a large solarium on the roof, the largest you can get at 70m2. . Many apartments have a spiral staircase from the lower balcony both restricting the size of the solarium and the lower balcony.

3.    The stairs to the solarium are external to the living areas and constructed of concrete. Consequently you have a secondary steel gate to the apartment which gives additional security. You can lock the steel gate and have the front door open giving complete access to all areas but with peace of mind that no one can enter your apartment and your children cannot stray. The big plus here is that the spiral staircase is very difficult to navigate and consequently you have potentially dangerous stairs with incredibly tight turns. This makes it difficult to take trays with drink or food up to the solarium and is definitely only for the sure footed. So always choose an apartment with a proper concrete staircase

With 4 sun loungers, two sun chairs, a table with 6 chairs and a BBQ, you may spend hours on the solarium, soaking up the sun in private and al-fresco dining.

4.    The large pool is completely surrounded by flat lawn area giving lots of space to relax and it has superb landscaping features.

5.    The apartment has been furnished for our use not just as a rental, so it is to a very high standard. We have thought of some of the little things like bathrobe hooks and very well lit mirrors in both bathrooms. Also you can sit on the bed in the master bedroom and you have a very large mirror to do your makeup, hair etc. Good quality hair dryer supplied.

6.    Extra storage units in the built in cupboards in both bedrooms gives more than enough space for all your clothes and 30 hangers should be enough!

7.    The outside balcony, with a quality table and chairs is always partially to fully shaded so it's a pleasure eating outside even in the summer high season. The resident plants add to the ambience.

8.    Want to cook then you will find ample equipment to do so plus microwave, large fridge freezer, dish washer, plastic jugs and cups for outside or at the pool and a quality dish washer, who wants to wash up by hand !!!.

9.    For your entertainment we have a large screen TV with DVD player built in and lots of books and DVDs, games and guide books.  A quality PC so that you can get your emails and surf the WWW and a camera card reader to look at your holiday snaps, phone for incoming calls(cheap rates from the UK) and local calls free.

10. Last but very important - all beds are of the highest quality and very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.

 THE RESORT

The De Vere Group, the same company that manages the Belfry in the UK, manages the 5 star Roda Golf & Beach Resort. The homes are built around the golf course with many pedestrian walkways that lead around the development and to the clubhouse, which minimizes the need to drive.  There is underground parking and a 24-hour security service on the resort. Resort access is also controlled by 24-hour security.

Private Beach Club

The exclusive private beach club sits between the Mediterranean and the Mar Menor on the La Manga strip. The beach club includes a clubhouse, restaurants, water sports, swimming pools, solariums, Jacuzzi, changing rooms with lockers and direct access to a Mediterranean beach. The beach club is reached by a short boat ride across the shallow lagoon, the Mar Menor.

Golf course

The 18-hole golf course was designed by Dave Thomas; one of Europe's most sought after course architects and is managed by the De Vere Group, the same company that manages the Belfry in the UK.   The design incorporates three lakes that have been strategically located with special emphasis placed upon the landscaping and the planting of trees that complement the character and vegetation of the Mediterranean climate.  Sam Torrance has accepted the position of `Official Captain` and recently commented in the local newspaper, Round Town News, that the course was certainly one of the best he has seen in Spain and possibly in Europe.

Regional and Local Area

Costa Calida

The Costa Calida lies between the Costa Blanca and Costa Almeria. The area known as Murcia enjoys approximately 300 days of sunshine every year and has an average temperature of 21 degrees. The Murcia region remains largely unspoilt with many beautiful beaches and stunning scenery

Roda

The village of Roda lies approximately 1.5km from the town and beaches of Los Alcazares.  Los Alcazares lies next to the Mar Menor, which is Europes largest saltwater lagoon with more than 43 miles of coastline.  The water is several degrees warmer than the nearby Mediterranean.  The Mar Menor has a high salt content, which makes it easier to float in, and is rich in minerals, many of which are believed to be very good for your skin.

Murcia

The City of Murcia is approximately 30 minutes from the resort by car. It hosts many of Spains well known department stores including El Corte Ingles.  There are plenty of cultural attractions to see including Santa Maria Cathedral.
